Note(s) to parents and students:

On this page you will find things that will assist with your success.  View it daily as things change according to instructions provided during class time.  This blog is meant to be another support tool for you to refer back to.  It is a simple overview of what was done in class and what your responsibilities are outside of school.  Assignments and tests will be posted below on a monthly calendar. This is meant to appropriately help you time mange your school and afterschool activities.  Remember you'll be less stressed out if you have a plan in place and you organize your needs!
Please Note:  If I'm away due to illness or workshops the blog will not be update that day.  The supply will assign work left behind by me and if homework needs to be completed that day, please ensure that it's put into your bag as soon as it's assigned or refer to the homework board in the class before dismissal, as the homework, unless otherwise stated will be due the following day.

Kind Regards,

E. Bucci

Here is another helpful tool...

The Study process…

  1. Review information on the handout provided in class and find the information in your notes and handouts
  2. Use dates to guide you in finding the information on the study guide as it is written mostly in the order that it was presented in class or for homework
  3. Write notes in your own words and on a separate sheet of paper titled study notes.  This is done in order for you to better understand the ideas being tested. Try and to have all the information on one or two sheets of paper
  4. Use underlining or highlighting for key term or ideas
  5. Review your study notes daily
  6. Test yourself by writing possible questions based on your study notes
  7. Write out you answer
  8. Have someone else question you orally with the questions you've created
  9. Answering questions both orally and in the written form, will help students who sometimes freeze up during test time so the extra practise will benefit you
  10. The night before the test review everything a few times
  11. During the test take your time and read every question thoroughly providing as much information as possible and don't forget to underline key information in the question that will leave to greater success
