hwk: read another 10 pages for a total of 20 pages for today as you read make certain to use post-its or torn paper to place a book mark on places in the text where you find "evidence" of the following writing style techniques... flashbacks, foreshadowing, hyperbole, imagery, metaphor, personification, and simile.  These literary devices are on the sheet provided in class today.  Please review the definition and sample provided to guide you with the post-its.  ***Suggestion- consider placing the post-it exactly where you read the content that relates to the literary device instead of at the top of the page you found it on.  This way you can easily find it during our book talk on Friday and will continue into next week.
